Did you know 2 appointments could mean $100K?

I’ve been running numbers for my Las Vegas Real Estate clients over the last several months and I’ve made an interesting discovery. In today’s market, all you have to do is set two new real estate appointments each week to make a six figure income. TWO!

If I told you that you would make over $100,000 in the next 12 months–even in this shifted market where values are down 50% in some areas–by getting in front of 2 new buyers or sellers each week in Las Vegas or Henderson, could you do it? Would you do it?

In my experience every 10th person I meet turns into an appointment. That means I’ve got to meet 4 new people per day if I only want to work five days in a week. In Camp 443 at Keller Williams Realty (that’s 4 Listings and 4 Sales in 3 Months) we are taught that we must meet at least 10 new people each day. With all the strategies I have in my tool belt, meeting just four people should be simple: I could sit a couple of open houses, I could knock on some doors in my farm area or at an apartment complex, I could sit at Starbucks, I could pretty much just stand anywhere in Las Vegas or Henderson and get into a conversation with a few people about the market and the economy and get into a position to be able to exchange information by coming from contribution. I know you could too.

It almost sounds too easy. That’s the interesting thing about real estate. So many agents want to complicate the simple, proven business models and are looking for all the reasons not to pick up the phone or knock on a door. Don’t complicate it. Remember KISS (Keep it Simple, Smarty) and JUST DO IT.

I’m not looking for a reason to be mediocre, there are already plenty of mediocre agents out there. I’m looking for the opportunity to live a great life, to leave a legacy and to be of service.
